Applied Technical Leadership
This program is designed to provide a leadership training opportunity for personnel employed in a variety of technically oriented career fields such as fire science, law enforcement, medical technology, business process operations, and other service industries. Technical and professional credits are transfered into the program from associate degrees, military training, apprenticeships, occupational experience or some combination of the above. Non-course experience is evaluated through portfolio analysis. Program RequirementsCore Curriculum - 31 credits Basic Competency - 9 credits Fine Arts - 6 credits (courses from a different department) Humanities - 6 credits (courses from a different prefixes) Social Sciences - 6 credits (courses from a different department) Natural Sciences - 4 credits (With Lab) Writing Intensive - 3 credits Departmental Requirements - 12 credits Science/Math - 12 credits General Electives - 9 Credits Professional - 27 Credits Technical/Occupational Specialization - 39 Credits |
