PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES

 

Professor Shields has published papers in journals such as Accounting, Organizations, and Society and Behavioral Research in Accounting. He has presented papers at the national meetings for organizations such as the American Accounting Association, the Small Business Institute Directors' Association, and the United States Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship. He is a member of the American Accounting Association, the editorial board of the Journal of Small Business Strategy, the Institute of Management Accountants, and the Steering Committee of the Northeast Region of the American Accounting Association.
