PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES
Prior to joining the USM School of Business in Fall 2006, Professor Kohli was working as an Assistant Professor of Operations Management at Southwestern College in Kanasas. He has more than ten years of experience in sales and distribution, technical support and product development in India. He was responsible for creating dealer network from nascent stage, designing and implementing business strategies in domestic and export markets working as Senior Engineer in Hindalco, the largest aluminum company in Asia. He provided product support to original equipment manufacturers, railways and state transport companies. He also worked as a consultant for a lean-management consulting company in Southern California. He has published articles and presented at several national and international conferences. Professor Kohli is currently an active member of the following professional associations: Informs, Decision Sciences Institute and Production and Operations Management Society.
