Community Involvement
As long as I can remember, I have always
been volunteering for some organization and/or cause. When I
was younger, my volunteer work helped me discover my talents and
gifts. I can honestly say that my volunteer worked saved my
life. I could not imagine my life without my volunteer work.
It is one of the easiest ways to feel good about yourself and know
you are making a difference in the community.
Below you will find links and information
about the many volunteer activities I have been involved with over
the years. I do it because, I can. Also, because it is
the right thing to do. Imagine a world where everyone shared
their talents and gave back to help others. What would that
look like. Give it a try. You might be surprised at
what you discover about yourself
Never doubt that a small, group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the
world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.
