Advising and Early Registration
General Instructions for early registration for continuing students allows students to register through the internet on a priority basis during pre-assigned dates.
Make an appointment to see your advisor as soon as possible. Contact your academic department if you do not know your advisor's name. Undeclared or students admitted with conditions should contact Advising Services.
- Registration for Spring 2010 will occur (MaineStreet). Students will be allowed to start registering on a day determined by the number of earned credit hours. (see schedule:http://usm.maine.edu/reg/RegistrationSchedule.html)
- To see how many credits you have now earned, access MaineStreet at: http://www.usm.maine.edu/erp/
- Prepare a tentative schedule and/or questions before meeting your advisor. You may choose to use your WISH LIST on Mainestreet which is anticipated to be available the week of October 26. (keep in mind that you must register from your wish list when your registration day becomes available and you have received your PIN. Wish list does not mean you are registered.)
- Before students are able to register, most will need to obtain a PIN (personal identification number) from their advisor or academic department.
