Open registration (Non-degree) is for anyone who has not applied to the university and would like to take a course to fullfill other requirements, enrichment, preparation for matriculation, or transfering credit to another school.
Registration may occur in person at the Registrar’s Office Gorham, Advising Services, Portland, the Business Office at Lewiston Auburn College or any off campus center.
If you have never taken courses at USM, please contact our office at 1-207-780-5230 or 1-800-800-4USM, ext 5230 for help with registration.
Public Directory Information Release
You may give permission for USM to discuss information with any other person or group by giving written permission. Include in this written permission the people/organization we can discuss your records with, the information we can discuss, and for how long. Include your name, signature, date of birth, and ID number.
At any time, you can revise a release by submitting another updated written release to us. Send the release to the Registrar's Office, 37 College Ave., Gorham, ME 04038 or fax to 207-780-5517.
