E. Michael Brady
is Professor of Adult Education in the Department of Human Resource Development.   He teaches the following graduate courses as part of the Master’s Program in Adult Education:

 * HRD 649  Seminar in Adult Education and HRD
 * HRD 667  Action Research and Evaluation
 * HRD 557  Gerontology for Educators
 * HRD 558  Aging and Life Review
 * HRD 559  Aging, Death and Bereavement

. . .  and the following undergraduate courses as part of U.S.M.’s CORE Curriculum:

 * COR 110J   Aging in America (co-taught with Carol Lynn Davis)
 * COR 142H  Baseball and American Society: A Journey (co-taught with Frank Carner)

     Mike also holds an appointment at the Muskie School of Public Service where he has served as principal investigator or co-principal investigator on four nationally funded grant projects in the areas of older workers,  retirement education,  and hospice/palliative care.

     Mike lives in Gorham Village, not far from campus, with his wife Nancy and three children - Ryan, Meghan, and Maura.  His volunteer activities include coaching youth baseball and softball and working with various agencies involved with services to older persons, including the recently formed “Senior College” at U.S.M.
