Popham Village 1940s

Popham Village was the first location in New England to attempt to colonize back in 1607 with the creation of Fort ST. George. However the attempt failed with weather that was less than helpful. However, Phippsburg was colonized and today is a thriving and booming community, dependant upon fishing, and travel-tourism.
