The following is a listing of the non-profit social services as provided by A New Vision for Bayside: Implementation. It is divided into two tiers with tier one services receiving priority in regards to maintaining their location in Bayside.

The City of Portland along with the Bayside Neighborhood Association (BNA) state that there is a need to keep social services located in Bayside. At present "over 800 workers are staffed in the social service network in Bayside" (Elder 2000, 10). It is pleasant that the "not in my backyard" (NIMBY) attitude is not prevalent here. Bayside is attempting to maintain and develop relationships with the poor and the homeless through social services and programs. It is in BNA's directives to ensure that there are programs and agencies in Bayside that assist these people in the future.
