Industrial technology (INT) is a baccalaureate program designed
to prepare management-oriented technical professionals. The
School of Applied Science,
Engineering, and Technology awards this degree and has extended
the "Option II" program to Lewiston-Auburn College.
This particular option is designed for those individuals who
have significant training, education or experience in a technical
field and want to earn a baccalaureate degree. The technical
component of this program may be satisfied through an appropriate
and accredited associate degree, approved military or industrial
training, college technical courses or submission of a prior
learning portfolio. The program offers an excellent opportunity
for students to develop abilities that will assist them in preparing
for a wide variety of challenging careers. Graduates of the
INT program are employed in positions associated with production
planning and control, process design, quality control, facility-planning
and design, personnel, safety, maintenance, technical sales,
and other production-related functions.
