Interests:  British Romanticism, literacy studies, critical theory (including theories of the uncanny), and Anglo-American literatures of the fantastic.

Research and publications:  Both major and relatively neglected British Romantic writers (William Wordsworth, Dorothy Wordsworth, Coleridge, John Clare, etc.) and specific issues of cultural production in the Romantic era (the formation of copyright law, travel writing, popular literacy).
