For cancellations received on or before October 1, 2000, a full refund will be issued, minus an administrative fee of $50.00 After October 17, 2000, we can offer no refund.

Registration Fee

A registration fee is required of all those attending the conference. The full registration fee includes attendance at all conference sessions and plenary sessions; refreshment breaks; reception and dinner on Thursday night; breakfast and lunch on Friday; breakfast and high tea on Saturday; and a farewell breakfast on Sunday. It also includes admission to the USM Reception on Friday and musical entertainment on Saturday evening.

 NEASECS Membership Membership in the Northeast American Society for Eighteenth Century Studies is required of all session participants, including panel chairs.                             _____ Full member fee $15.00 _____ Graduate student membership fee $10.00

Guest Fee

The guest fee is $75, and includes all food services and events as outlined above. It does not include admission into the conference sessions, or optional events.

 Lodging The Eastland Park hotel has set aside a block of rooms for the NEASECS Conference. These rooms will be held until September 28th, at which time they will be released. Please be sure to mention the NEASECS Conference, "Mapping the Nation," when making reservations.

 Parking Parking is available at the attached garage for a fee of $1/hour, or $6.50/day (after $3.50/day reimbursement from the hotel). Optional Event

                        1.  Tickets for the Lobster Bake on Friday night are $50 per person. This includes transportation to and from the Stone House;
                        guests at the     Lobster Bake will also have the option of a brief shopping excursion to L.L. Bean in nearby Freeport. This event
                        will sell out, so please register early. Space is limited to 75 persons.
