Explore a list of lists (see: http://tile.net/listserv/) and find one listserv (electronic discussion group) and one newsgroup that may be relevant to the research topic you plan to investigate in this course. Subscribe to the Listserv (keeping the info they send you, so that you can UNsubscribe if you wish). Explore the newsgroup, reading postings and only writing to the group if you feel you want to say something or ask something.
