Here is my basic teaching schedule. I'm generally here 8:00 - 5:00, but I am also busy with experiments for my research and working with other students. So it is best for you to make an appointment. Please send me an email with a couple of times that would work for you and I'll let you know which one will work for me and we'll have a plan. Yay! Directions to my office are below.
My office and lab are in room 305 Science Building. If you enter from Falmouth Street under the planetarium sign, veer to the right, find room 105 (the department office). I am directly above in room 305. Driving: On I295, take exit 6 onto Forest Avenue (Highway 9 North) (heading away from downtown). The second light is Falmouth Street and if you take a left the Science Building is about a block ahead. But parking on Falmouth Street is metered or timed. If you stay on Forest Avenue two blocks past Falmouth Street and turn left onto Pitt Street, you can find street parking for free with no time limits. In a worse case scenario, Williams Street is one block further than Pitt and it always has parking.
If you are rarely on the Portland campus, we can make an appointment to speak by phone. I know it's kind of weird to have an apointment just to talk on the phone but I have done it a lot and it works out really well. I'd prefer to meet in person but if you have to drive far or sit on a shuttle bus, let's plan to meet on the phone.
