Center for Teaching The USM Center for Teaching fosters, encourages, and supports dedicated instructors, innovative teaching, and the advancement of a community of learning between USM faculty and students. Through mechanisms including workshops and other CFT-sponsored events, small grant programs, the Provost's Fellowships for Teaching Excellence, the Teaching Excellence series and other teaching resources on this website, the Center for Teaching helps to sustain and enhance the educational pursuits that are the cornerstone of the University of Southern Maine.
