Ed. by Ivan Colovic and Aljosa Mimica
Belgrade Circle/Borba, Beograd, 1992, 192 pp.
A Collection of some 80 speeches made by intellectuals, members of the Belgrade Circle and its guests, at 10 public sessions in Belgrade in spring 1992. These sessions were a rare places in Serbia where participants protested openly against dictatorship, media violence, the rise of fascism, the expansionist war. The term "The Other Serbia" became a synonym for the resistance of all who refused to reconcile themselves to the authorities and to the nationalist ideology of some of the opposition leaders. A number of the articles in this collection were published in an issue of the French magazine Les Temps Modernes (January-February 1994).
