The well-known ethnologist, publicist and publisher has collected 15 essays written between 1991 and 1993. He includes ethnosociological and semiological analyses of different aspects of modern political folklore in the former Yugoslavia, primarily in the "Serb lands". One topic is present throughout the book despite the differing formats of the texts: an analysis of various forms of discourse which are formed in conditions of vast ignorance, hatred and war and in turn cause hatred, ignorance and war themselves.
