Filip David, 1994, 102 pp.
Author of several TV dramas, movie scripts and short story collections, David has included excerpts from his diary along with notes, essays and comments written in the 1990-1994 period, a time when nationalism and populism were rising and resulting in war and poverty. The collection falls into the category of literature engageé, although the author feels that the genre has been compromised. It includes lucid thoughts and critical notes regarding the most dramatic moments of the Yugoslav tragedy.
