We would like to draw attention to the continuing gesture of solidarity demonstrated
to our project by the members of the Advisory Committee from the countries
of the former Yugoslavia as well as by members of the International Advisory
Committee from other foreign countries. We take this opportunity to express
our warmest thanks to all friends and associates of our journal, especially
to contributors who have donated their articles for publication in Belgrade
Circle. Our particular gratitude is due to professors Richard Rorty,
Donald Davidson, Jurgen Habermas and Manfred Frank;
not only have they donated their articles for this issue, but have helped
us immeasurably with their continuing commitment and support. Since the publication
of our test issue, we have enjoyed the symbolic support of several members
of our International Advisory Committee of Belgrade Circle who have visited
Belgrade as guests of our journal: Donald Davidson (Berkeley), Anthony
Giddens (Cambridge) and Terry Eagleton (Oxford).
We are proud to announce that Manfred Frank, Jurgen Habermas, Alison M. Jaggar, Nebojsa Kujundzic, Tibor Varadi and Lino Veljak have in the meantime become members of our (International) Advisory Committee. The editors wish to thank the following institutions which made the publication of Belgrade Circle possible:
