The Women and Community Center functions to support the mental, physical, spiritual, financial, and social well being of women and the USM community. The center works to connect women and men at all stages of life and academic development to resources, referrals, and support systems that empower them to thrive and succeed in their academic, professional, and personal lives. Specifically, The Women and Community Center works to educate, support, provide resources, and engage students around issues that affect women and therefore our larger community. Working closely with the Campus Safety Project, the Women and Community Center offers support and advocacy for students, staff and faculty affected by sexual assault and interpersonal violence.
