How to Pay:
Please note: Winter charges can be accessed on MaineStreet. Paper billing statements will not be mailed for Winter charges.
- In Person with Cash/Check - Payment may be made at the office of Student Accounts located in Portland (Payson Smith Hall), Gorham (Corthell Hall), and LAC (119 Student Success Center). Checks should be made payable to the University of Southern Maine with the student's complete name and (7-digit) MaineStreet ID number clearly indicated on the check.
- On MaineStreet with a MasterCard, Discover, or American Express, or E-Check (electronic check) - Students are now able to view and pay bills, self enroll in a payment plan, and authorize others to make online payments. Payment may be completed on MaineStreet through your MaineStreet Student Center via Bill + Payment Suite. Please be aware that there is a 2.75% (non-refundable) convenience fee to pay with a debit or credit card. There is no fee to pay with an E-Check.
Payment Plan
A student registering for Winter can elect to pay with a payment plan. The payment plan for Winter is a 4-installment plan, with the first payment due at the time of enrollment and the next three payments due Oct 15th, Nov 15th, and Dec 15th. There is a $30 payment plan enrollment fee.
If a student is already in a Fall payment plan, any Winter charges will be added to the existing Fall plan, increasing the amount due for payments remaining.
Refund Policy
If a course is dropped on or before the first scheduled day, a 100% refund is given. After the first scheduled day the refund drops to either 50%, 25%, or 0% depending on the day the course is dropped.
Last day for a 100% refund 12/17/2012
Last day for a 50% refund 12/23/2012
Last day for a 25% refund 12/30/2012
