Gender Studies Student Organization
Open to all USM students interested in gender related issues, the Gender Studies Student Organization sponsors speakers and events on campus and in the community and participates in local and national gender studies conferences. The goal of the group is to participate actively in the Women and Gender Studies Program and to generate events, educate the campus on various issues in gender studies, women's studies, comparative gender studies, and gay/lesbian/bisexual studies.
Meetings are held at the Women & Gender Studies Program house at 94 Bedford St., Portland Campus while school is in session.
