Download Templates
Note to web publishers: validated templates are now available for download. These templates are coded to validate to HTML 4.01 Transitional or XHTML 1.0 Transitional doctypes. Download validated templates (zip format).
Please make sure you have carefully read the Web Publishing Policies and Template Guidelines before proceeding. It is recommended that you make a hard copy of the Template Guidelines to refer to during the development process.

PC Users
- After clicking on the download link below, a "File Download" window appears. (If this window does not appear, proceed to the next step.) Choose "Save this program to disk" and click on OK.
- A "Save As" window appears. Choose the location to save the file templates.exe to by clicking on the downward arrow immediately to the right of the drop-down box at the top of the window.
- Choose a location where you can easily find the file afterwards, such as the Desktop, and click on "Save" at the bottom of the window. (A "Download complete" window may appear at this stage — click on "Close".)
- After downloading the file, go to the location where you saved it to and double click on the filename templates.exe.
- A "WinZip Self-Extractor" window appears. Click on Browse and choose a location where you can easily locate the unzipped files afterwards. (A folder created specifically for these files might avoid confusion later.)
- Click on "OK", then "Unzip".
- Click on "OK", then "Close" to exit the pop-up window, and go to the place where you unzipped the files to.
- There should be 5 template files there: these are HTML files that should be opened directly into your web authoring software (not into your web browser).
Mac Users
Internet Explorer 5.0 and Netscape 4.x
- Once you have clicked on the download link below, a folder named templates folder will appear on your desktop.
- Go to your Desktop and double click on this folder (templates folder).
- You should see 5 template files: these are HTML files that should be opened directly into your web authoring software (not in a web browser).
