Veterans Green Jobs is seeking student veterans that have recently graduated* or will be graduating soon to be placed in paid, temporary positions with The Great Basin Institute, an interdisciplinary field studies organization that promotes environmental research, education, and conservation throughout the West. The Institute advances ecological literacy and habitat restoration through educational outreach and direct service programs.
These positions include:
- Invasive Plant Survey, Mapping and Treatment Technician
- Vegetation/Habitat Assessment Field Technician for the Nevada Department of Wildlife
- Fire Resources/Vegetation Management Field Technician
- Plant Biologist
- Rangeland Production Field Lead
- Rangeland Production Field Technician
- Spring Inventory Technician
