Overview
The USM Gorham Cultural Affairs Committee (UGCAC) is responsible for advocating and allocating a budget that supports cultural events on the USM Gorham campus. The committee proposes, develops, and implements processes aimed at increasing diverse cultural opportunities at the university, facilitates culturally diverse programming by faculty and staff, and publicizes criteria and screens applications for the awarding of funding for cultural activities.
The UGCAC is funded in whole by the USM College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences (CAHS). For more information about the the College, visit www.usm.maine.edu/cahs.

Ever-present in mythology, literature, psychology, art, as well as in our own thoughts and memories, archetypes exist as energies and characters that have spanned time and culture. This public performance with songs and stories is the culmination of a two-day workshop with Josh Chenard exploring this powerful work. It is followed by a discussion with USM Faculty.
Guest Artist Josh Chenard ’02 is Assistant Professor of Acting at Mexico State University.
