Groups

Each semester, the Counseling center offers several counseling groups that are open to all students free of charge.  Groups are 60-90 minutes in length, meet for the entire semester, and are facilitated by a Counseling Service staff member and/or a graduate intern. Groups will have 4-8 participants and will begin when the required minimum number of participants has signed up.

A complete list of groups will be posted in locations on campus, on our bulletin board outside of 105 Payson Smith Hall, and on this webpage. A group screening is required to determine an individual's appropriateness for participation in a group. Interested students should contact University Counseling Services at 780-4050 to schedule a screening appointment with the group facilitator.
