The Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation Application Available for 2012
USM is one of 29 universities to receive the Woodrow Wilson-Rockefeller Brothers Fund Fellowship. The fellowship is for students wanting to pursue teacher education. The $30,000 one-time fellowship is designed for students of color in their senior year of baccalaureate study who want to pursue teacher education. Flynn Ross, associate professor of teacher education and the fellowship’s USM campus liasion, says, “We are honored to be selected as one of a hand-full of institutions to host the distinguished WW-RBF Teaching Fellows and look forward to working with these students who are certain to enrich our cohorts as they learn to become excellent teachers.” To find out more click on Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation under "Resources."
