Constance M. Ostis, Ph.D., LCSW, is currently an adjunct professor in the University of Southern Maine School of Social Work with over ten years of teaching experience in USM’s and University of New England’s Schools of Social Work. In addition, Dr Ostis has over twenty-five years of clinical experience in both private practice and agency settings, including fifteen years as supervisor of a victim-focused child sexual abuse treatment program. Dr. Ostis provides trainings in treatment and prevention at local, national, and international conferences, has served on the board of Cumberland County Children’s Advocacy Council, and has published a book, *What’s Happening in Our Family?: Understanding Sexual Abuse Through Metaphors*.
