"The Story of Stuff" Screening
Event Date and Time:
Wed, 01/23/2013 - 6:00pm - 7:30pm
Location:
Woodbury Campus Center - Amphitheater (Portland Campus)
Where does the "stuff" you use everyday come from? Who creates the pens, computers, aluminum cans, t-shirts, paper plates, and other goods you use everyday? Where is this "stuff" produced, distributed, and consumed, and where does it go when we throw it out?
Come watch this short animation film exposing the environmental costs and social consequences of our buying habits. An open discussion forum will be followed shortly after. Refreshments will be served. Brought to you by Students for Environmental Awareness and Sustainability (SEAS).
