Community Electronic Waste Recycling Day
Event Date and Time:
Sat, 04/13/2013 - 9:00am - 1:00pm
Location:
USM, Woodbury Campus Center Parking Lot, 45 Bedford Street, Portland Maine

It's Spring Cleaning Time!
Got some old or unwanted electronics taking up space in your house? Get rid of them the environmentally friendly way! Drop them off at the USM Portland Campus to be recycled between 9a-1p on Saturday, April 13, 2013.
Many components of household electronics are recyclable and reusable. Electronics and appliances also sometimes have hazardous chemicals in them, so they don't belong in the trash!
The following items will be accepted and taken to a local recycling facility for FREE:
- TV’s
- Computers & Laptops
- Monitors
- Hard Drives
- Keyboards, mice, speakers & other peripherals
- Printers, Copiers, Scanners, Fax Machines
- Stereo Equipment
- VCR / DVD / CD Players
- Cell Phones, telephones
- Cameras
- Other household electronic waste
We are in need of volunteers to staff this event. Please sign up to volunteer here! Thanks to North Coast Recycling, Pinetree Waste, and The City of Portland for their help with this effort.
