THE 399 (3 Credits)
Classes will include scene study from productions currently onstage in NYC, discussions of productions viewed, field trips to various locations, and special guests as available. Each student must see a total of four (4) productions while in NYC, one of which must be a Broadway performance. Students will submit a journal of daily entries and a final, 5-page, typed paper.
Previous special guests of the course have included: Doug Wilson, Designer/Actor from the TV show "Trading Spaces"; Margot White, local actress who has appeared in Pericles and has worked on Broadway; Nancy Saklad, from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy teaching and voice workshop; Charles Grayouskie, from the crew of "The Guiding Light"; and Terri Gindi, a New York mime.
