For student ages 10 - Adults
The Southern Maine String Academy at the University of Southern Maine offers an exciting week of string instrument study for students and adults alike. This year marks the 38th Maine ASTA Summer Conference, continuing its commitment to quality string education. Our flexible, non-competitive program offers three levels of instruction for students on all string instruments, including harp.

Solo Recital Performances--Students who would like to perform at the academy's solo recital should submit a tape/CD of the entire composition by June 2, 2008. Students will have the opportunity to rehearse and perform with the academy accompanist. All levels of ability are encouraged to apply.
