Sullivan Recreation and Fitness Complex

The Sullivan Recreation and Fitness Complex, a Department of Student & University Life, is a multipurpose facility designed with your fitness, recreation, and wellness in mind and conveniently located on the Portland Campus of the University of Southern Maine.  

The complex boasts two air-conditioned fitness centers in addition to newly renovated locker rooms with saunas.  The complex also houses the main gym, comprised of three basketball courts, three racquetball courts, squash court, and two multipurpose rooms. Racquetball courts can also be converted for Wallyball play.

It's never too late to join a few of our ongoing Fitness Activity programs. Drop in fee $5.00 for a day or pay the semester price for any of the following: Step Aerobics 6:15am - 7:15am M-W-F, On the Ball Fitball 4:30pm - 5pm M-W-F with an early warm up at 4:15pm, Bootcamp 5pm - 6pm M-W-F, or Zumba T-T 5pm - 6pm! Still a few spaces available in the following: Monday Gentle Yoga 12pm - 1pm or Thursday Classic Yoga 1:15pm. Register in person at 104 Sullivan Recreation & Fitness Complex. WE WANT YOU! (To be a trip leader for S.M.O.R.)

The Southern Maine Outdoor Recreation Program is looking for spectacular individuals, who enjoy recreation activities to be work study students for the S.M.O.R. program. We will train you to be a trip leader with S.M.O.R.  You will be leading recreation trips such as hiking, kayaking, snowboarding/skiing, camping and much more with your Wilderness First Aid Certification.
