USM Staff & Faculty Gym memberships - Sullivan Recreation & Fitness Complex in Portland, 780-4939 & Costello Sports Complex in Gorham, 780-5042. Faculty and staff who use the athletic, fitness, and recreation facilities on campus must pay a facility fee. The facility fees are reasonably priced and can be purchased for four months ($45), 8 months ($75), or a full year membership ($100). Lifeline participants will be responsible for paying a facility fee at the time of registration or renewal. Non credit tuition waivers must be renewed annually through Lifeline for Body Shop access or participation in aerobic or exercise programs. Call Peter Allen 780-4641 to renew your non credit tuition waiver annually. Payroll deduction plans are available at each facility for easy payment. Membership fees will be used to purchase new equipment, upgrade existing equipment and support the maintenance of the facilities. Rates for family members and visitors are also available. Arrangements for payment can be made at the Sullivan Recreation and Fitness Complex, Hill Gym, the Ice Arena, and through Lifeline. Effective Fall Semester, 2003, any faculty/staff member who is registered for USM credit classes and paying the Unified Fee will not be required to purchase a Sports, Fitness & Recreation Facility membership during their semester of enrollment. You will need to notify the facility you plan to use to verify student enrollment and have card activated each semester.
CELL PHONE RECYCLE PROGRAM: USM/L-A in cooperation with the Greater Recycling Alliance is pleased to offer a cell phone recycling/recovery program. USM/L-A will collect and send old and unwanted cell phones and their batteries to The Greater Recycling Alliance. THE GRA will reuse these phones for charitable purposes or recycle them in an environmentally friendly manner. USM/L-A will be reimbursed for each phone that it collects. This money will help fund green projects for the Lewiston-Auburn campus. Anyone may donate their cell phones, so please spread the word! Please drop off your unwanted cell phones in the designated box in the library on the LEWISTON campus. (A big thanks to the library for allowing space for the box!) I always advise that you visit both vendor web sites, look at plans and calling areas that best fit your needs and what the current plans are before contacting the vendor reps for additional info. You would want to look at your calling area (do you travel to Sugarloaf or Cape Cod for instance) and how many minutes you estimate you will use in a month, phones currently available & features you may use (such as text messaging). Once you understand some of those basics, then call the vendor for the particular plan you think best works for you & sign up for a cell phone plan directly with the vendor. They will either drop ship the phones to your office or make arrangements for you to pick them up.
Students may also contact vendors for options available to them although they will not fall into corporate plans.

A few notes about Blackberries and our system if a user wants to synchronize with USM's Groupwise/Blackberry Server
1. The Blackberry device needs to be configured for Blackberry Enterprise Server (BES) not Blackberry Internet Service (BIS)
2. The USM license and setup charge for Blackberries is an initial fee of $100 plus $2 per month
3. USM will not bill an individual for these charges. They must be USM department paid.
USM employees who wish to do the above really should go through USM's Telecom department first.

Present your Corporate Voucher, photo ID (drivers license, etc.) and valid company ID (company ID card) to the ticket seller. In the absence of the primary cardholder, immediate family members, defined as spouse and children, must present some form of corporate identification (business card, etc.), plus a photo ID, (Young children do not need a photo ID) in the instance that the employee is not present. Each person expecting the corporate pricing must be present with the Corporate Voucher holder at the time of the ticket purchase.

Six Flags New England Park Policies
- PETS - Pets are not allowed, with the exception of working service
animals. DRESS CODE - Six Flags New England enforces a dress code in
keeping with our family environment. Clothing with inappropriate words, phrases
or graphics are prohibited. Shoes, shirts, pants/shorts must be worn at all
times while in the Theme Park, and shirts cannot be turned inside-out as a
solution.
Bathing suits may be worn only in waterpark areas. All clothing is subject to
management review and discretion. - All guests entering the park will go
through metal detectors, so please plan accordingly. PROHIBITED ITEMS - The
following items are not permitted at any time. Food/Coolers (except special
diet and infant food), Lawn/Folding Chairs, Magic Markers, Paint Spray, Aerosol
Cans, Glass Bottles, Knives, Spiked Clothing/Jewelry, Fireworks/Explosives,
Firearms/Ammunition, Chemical Weapons, Mace/Pepper Spray. Security will
confiscate any item that is prohibited by Massachusetts General Law or statute
or in violation of Federal Laws and Regulations. All items will be turned over
to the Agawam Police Department for investigation. Guests using profanity or
abusive language, symbols or gestures may be ejected from the park without
refund. Also, Six Flags New England does not allow the consumption of alcoholic
beverages or the use of open-flame cooking in our parking lots. RE-ENTRY -
To leave the park and re-enter on the same day, please get your hand stamped
and re-enter at the re-entry gate. This includes season pass holders. Season
Passes are only valid to scan once per day. PHOTOGRAPHY - Cameras may
not be permitted on thrill rides. Please check at ride entrances regarding
camera policies for each ride. Six Flags New England requests that all
photographs or videos taken by guests be used for their personal use and
enjoyment only. Any use, reuse or reproduction for commercial purposes without
the express written consent of Six Flags New England is prohibited. RAIN
POLICY - Some rides and shows will close temporarily during electrical
storms, heavy rains, high winds and other severe weather conditions. As soon as
conditions permit safe operation, these attractions will re-open. Six Flags New
England does not issue rain checks or refunds.
