The
University of Southern Maine offers students a variety
of opportunities to get involved on campus. The Student
Involvement & Activities Center staff can help you make
the most of the learning experiences that take place
outside the classroom. Students can develop leadership
skills and strategies that transfer immediately to any
work situation, while making friends, relieving stress,
and having fun.
Getting involved on and off campus is an excellent
opportunity to develop and improve your personal and
professional skills. Your USM experience is much more
than what goes on inside the classroom. It is a
combination of learning and hands on experience. Stop by
the Office of Student Involvement and learn how you can
put your skills to good use.
There is always something happening at USM. Programs
include comedians, hypnotists, local bands, speakers,
major concerts, & residence hall programs as well as
watching USM athletic contests, participating in
recreational opportunities on campus and much more. You
name it, you can find it on campus or in the area. |
