Student-Run Religious and Spiritual Communities On Campus

Student-initiated and student-run organizations offer opportunities to gather around common religious or spiritual interests for support, personal growth, celebration, and belonging. These groups make important contributions to the quality of campus community life. Contact them directly to get involved.

Baha’i Campus Association
The main purpose of the Baha'i Campus Association is to promote unity on the USM campus and in the surrounding community. We meet Tuesdays at  4 pm in 303 Luther Bonney, Portland.

Catholic Newman Club
Our mission is to support Catholic students who want to sustain their Catholic identity by becoming involved in membership activities, events, and programs on or off campus. We meet Mondays at 7:30 pm. Our meeting place alternates each week between the Woodbury Campus Center in Portland and the 1st Andrews study lounge in Robie-Andrews Hall, Gorham. Join us Saturdays at 4:30 pm in front of Robie-Andrews Hall, Gorham to carpool to Mass at St. Anne's!

InterVarsity Christian Fellowship       
InterVarsity is a Christian outreach to students seeking to pursue Jesus, be transformed, and impact the world. We meet Wednesdays at 7:30 pm in 113 Bailey Hall, Gorham. Join us for prayer Mondays at noon in the Husky Hut, Brooks Student Center, Gorham or Tuesdays at noon in the Woodbury Campus Center Ampitheater, Portland. There is also Bible Study Tuesdays at 7 pm in Luther Bonney, Portland.

Navigators Christian Fellowship
The Navigators are an interdenominational evangelical Christian group dedicated to helping people navigate spiritually. We meet Tuesdays at 7:30pm in 108 Bailey Hall, Gorham for Bible Study.  We are studying the Gospel of John this semester.
