Commuter Week Car Show Contest

Sponsored by the USM Student Government Association and Portland Student Life

As commuter students, you spend quite a bit of time getting to and from campus.  Whether by car, bike or foot, the commute can sometimes be challenging.  To celebrate your role in our campus community, we invite you to enter your "mode of transportation" into our 2nd Annual Commuter Car Show Contest!  You could win one of three $100 gift cards!

Entries will be accepted through Thursday October 4th by 12:00pm.

CONTEST RULES

1) All students entering the contest MUST be enrolled at USM in Fall'12 classes.
2) Any cars/motorcylces entered MUST be registered with USM Parking Services.
3) All entries should be the mode of transportation you actually use to get to campus. 
4) A picture of your entry MUST be submitted with your entry form.  We will blur out any identifying features (ie- license plates).  By entering the contest you agree to allow the Office of Student Life to use this picture on our Facebook contest page.
5) Pictures will be compared to your entry form and with Parking Services records to ensure validity of entry.

VOTING PROCEDURES

1) "Voting" will occur via the USM Commuter Car Show Contest Facebook page from 8am on Monday,10/1/12 through 12pm on Thursday, 10/4/12.
2) Winners in each category will be determined by the greatest number of"likes" pictures have received on the Facebook page.
3) Anyone is permitted to "vote" via Facebook, not just limited to students.
4) Winners will be announced at 1pm at the Sullivan Gym Open House.

HOW TO ENTER

1) Entries will be accepted through Thursday October 4th until 12:00pm.
2) All entries MUST be submitted by uploading a photo to our facebook page.
3) The Office of Student Life will verify winners with USM Parking Services.
