Student Center

Located on the Gorham campus, the Brooks Student Center is a hub for programs, services and facilities. Residential and commuter students can access the many service areas located in the building:

• Information Center: (207) 780-5470, http://usm.maine.edu/studentlife/. Information and referral for the Campus Center and for the University as a whole. We manage the postings of campus flyers, signs and ads, and we manage the reservations for artisans, vendors, University promotions and fundraisers at tables in the building.

• U.S.M. Bookstore: (207) 780-5646, http://www.usm.maine.edu/~books/. The official campus bookstore for the University, open Monday through Friday and some Saturdays. New and used textbooks, general reading, supplies for classes, USM clothing and memorabilia are all offered. Cash, credit cards and "Husky Bucks" are accepted.

• Dining Hall: (207) 780-5420

• Snack Shack: (207) 780-5428, http://usm.maine.edu/reslife/dining.htm. Breakfast, lunch and dinner choices are offered Monday through Friday. "Dining Dollars" and "Husky Bucks" offer debit card convenience.

• Dean of Student's Office: (207) 780-5470, http://usm.maine.edu/studentlife/.

• Gorham Events Board (GEB): (207) 780-5155, A student organization which provides campus programming for the Gorham campus.  Bands, comedians, Winter Fest, Spring Fling are just a few events GEB promotes.  If you are interested in getting involved with campus activities give GEB and call.

• Student Center Services: Lounge/study space, meeting rooms, ATM machine, snack/vending machines, photocopier & post office stamp machine.
