Room and Board

During the ten-day residencies our students attend twice per year, the MFA office makes arrangements for student accommodations.  Participation in the room and board package offered is completely optional.  The room & board cost is currently $825.00.  Accommodations for our winter residency are at The Hilton Garden Inn, located on Route 1 in Freeport, Maine.  http://hiltongardeninn.hilton.com/en/gi/hotels/index.jhtml?ctyhocn=PWMFDGI

Lodging includes the use of their indoor swimming pool and exercise facilities. There are also laundry facilities available at the Inn. There is wireless Internet access available from the Inn.  Room and board covers your room, breakfast at the Hilton Garden Inn and lunch at the Stone House where the day’s seminars and workshops convene.  Dinner is not included during the winter residency but there are many good restaurants in Freeport.  You may opt to share a room at the Hilton Garden Inn at a reduced rate of $413.00. 

Room & board for the summer residency is $825.00 and consists of housing on the Bowdoin College Campus in Brunswick, Maine.  Room and Board includes breakfast and dinner at the Bowdoin cafeteria and lunch at the Stone House in Freeport.

Lunch only for $155.00 is available for commuter students or students who are making their own arrangements for accommodations.
