Stonecoast MFA in Creative Writing
Location
Stonecoast MFA students and faculty all meet together in person twice a year, for ten-day residencies in January and July. Residency workshops and classes are held in the University of Southern Maine's historic Stone House at Wolfe Neck State Park in the town of Freeport, just north of Portland on the coast of Maine's Casco Bay. Evening events are held at local inns in Freeport (January) and Brunswick (July).
