“This was my first residency, and I loved the variety of topics in classes and panels, the supportive yet honest tone of my workshops. As a poet, I feel stimulated by the presence of so many genres. COMMUNITY
Inspiring, surprising, nurturing. . . The sense of community, which I’m sure you hear about in every evaluation, really is amazing, even for someone who isn’t especially outgoing. Amazing—the emphasis on flexibility and personal voice allow the students to become their own favorite writer. The atmosphere is accepting and warm without being soft.
