Admission Requirements
If you would like information on applying to USM, please contact the Office of Admission. Their web page has an online Application for Admission. In addition to the University requirements established for admission, the Department of Exercise, Health, and Sport Sciences requires the applicant to achieve a minimum score of 480 on the mathematics proficiency portion of the SAT.

In order to be admitted to one of the majors within the Department of Exercise, Health, and Sport Sciences, additional criteria must be met. These can be found on the admission section of each majors web page . Because the Athletic Training, Exercise Physiology, and Health Fitness majors entail supervised clinical experience, the sports medicine faculty reserves the right to limit enrollment in these programs.
