Flying the coop

And feathering his nest. USM electrical engineering major David Sparrow may hit pay dirt when he graduates this year. As part of a USM Co-op program, he has trained on-site at Fairchild Semiconductor while taking classes. He is now a full-fledged member of a circuit-testing team there, which also includes four USM electrical engineering grads. USM’s programs linking industry and education are real feathers in our cap.
