Dr. Flynn Ross, Associate Professor of Teacher Education, wrote an Off-Campus piece in the Portland Press Herald on Monday, March 11, 2013 on how equity ensures excellence in Maine schools and nation-wide. Dr. Ross stated, " Investment in early childhood education and a high-quality teaching force are two of the primary strategies for correcting our decline."
