I completed my undergraduate studies at the Pennsylvania State University and attended Loyola University in Maryland for graduate study. I received my doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 2001.  I am a licensed psychologist and my clinical interests include assessment and treatment of children and adolescents with learning differences, ADHD, pervasive developmental disorders, mood disorders and behavioral disorders.

I have trained in the neuropsychological approach to assessment and my clinical orientation integrates biological, behavioral, and cognitive approaches. My main research interests are evaluation of clinical outcomes and clinical program evaluation. My primary teaching activities at USM LAC are courses in child development, child psychology, and research. In addition to being a licensed psychologist, I am a certified yoga instructor. Other interests include hiking with my black lab, browsing farmers markets and book stores, and knitting.
