PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES

 

As a resident counselor of the Small Business Development Centers, Professor Sanders consults with small businesses on a variety of accounting related issues for both compliance and decision making. He makes numerous presentations before entrepreneurs and small business owners in this area to assist in their development. He served as a panelist on the United States Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship and has participated in a 40-hour presentation at the trade union school in Moscow with a group of Internal Auditors from Maine. Professor Sanders reviews small business texts and co-authors articles on small business topics. He is involved in various professional associations including the Institute of Management Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Professor Sanders currently serves as Chair of the School of Business Accounting Department.
