Brooks Student Center

The Brooks Student Center is ready with a backup generator and will have food service and electricity, even if the rest of Gorham campus loses power. Residents, please take advantage of the space if the power goes out at any point during the next couple of stormy days! If you haven't yet done so, you may want to sign up for USM's Emergency Warning System. http://www.usm.maine.edu/usmalert/ You can also call the USM Storm Line at 207-780-4800 for information about USM closings.

The office of Residential Life in 100 Upton Hall will be open for calls and visits from 9am to noon Saturday and Sunday, September 1 and 2. Come see us with your housing and dining questions, or just to say hello to the folks on the other end of the phone!

We're excited to welcome new and returning students to the Gorham campus! New residents (including transfers and others who have never lived on campus) move in on Saturday, September 1, between 9am and noon. Returning residents move in on Sunday, September 2, between 9am and noon. Classes begin Tuesday, September 4 at 8am.

Residents must check out of their residence halls within 24 hours of their last final or by 5 pm on Friday, May 11th, 2012, whichever comes first. Residents who have signed up for summer housing will receive letters with further instructions.

Hello, new students! Do you want to live on campus but haven't received an application? Not to worry - we still have space! Housing applications and brochures are mailed on an ongoing basis, so if you've been accepted, you will receive materials in the mail shortly. In the meantime, if you have any questions about living on campus, don't hesitate to get in touch with us!

Now accepting applications for resident assistants, summer resident assistants and summer front desk. Pick up an application at Residential Life, 100 Upton Hall, or stop by the information tables at lunch and dinner in the Brooks dining center on February 27 and 28.
