Call for Volunteers: Thinking Matters 2013
Thinking Matters, our annual celebration of student research and creativity, is being held on Friday April 26, 2013 at the Portland Campus and we need your help to make this year’s event a success.
The poster session will be held in the Sullivan Gym from 8:30am to 11:30am and the oral sessions will be held on the second floor of Payson Smith Hall from 12:15pm to 4:30pm.
We need volunteers to set up the poster tables and poster boards, and to greet visitors and students during the event itself.
Set up (12 volunteers): 6 am to 8 am - Set up tables, tablecloths and poster boards.
Take down (6 volunteers): 3 pm to 4 pm -Take down tablecloths, store poster boards.
Greeters (4 volunteers): 8 to 11:30 am - Greet visitors and help them find student posters;help students find their assigned tables and poster boards.
Greeters (4 volunteers): Noon to 3:30 pm - Greet visitors at all entrances to Payson-Smith and help them find rooms for oral sessions.
Note: The call for faculty mentors to moderate oral sessions is being done separately.
Please take a few hours to help USM make this event a success and support our students.
