Provost's Research Fellowship Call for Proposals
The Office of the Provost and the Office of Research Administration & Development is pleased to announce the Call for Proposals for the Provost's Research Fellowship for the 2013-2014 Academic Year.
The Provost’s Research Fellowship provides a one-course release for both fall and spring semesters to a tenured faculty member to allow her/him to concentrate on research, scholarship, or creative work.
Selection of the award recipient is based on demonstrably outstanding accomplishment and potential for continued excellence in research, scholarship, or creative activity.
A subcommittee of the Research Council will review the fellowship applications and forward its recommendation to the Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs – Research, Scholarship, and Creative Activity for approval.
To be selected as the Research Fellow is an appointment of distinction. The process of seeking the appointment is competitive and will provide the Research Fellow both recognition and an excellent opportunity to pursue compelling research, scholarship, or creative activity.
Date sequence is as follows:
Call for Proposals: January 14, 2013
Application Deadline: March 22, 2013
Award Determination: April 19, 2013
Award Announcement: May 2013
