Lucinda Cole presenting paper at ASECS
Associate Professor of English Lucinda Cole will be presenting the paper "The Dog, The Slut, and the Flea: Or, How Parasites Ate My Binaries" at the Annual Meeting of the American Society for Eighteenth-Century Studies (ASECS), being held March 22-24 in San Antonio, Texas. The presentation is part of a panel - Sex, Gender, Species: Women and Other Animals - sponsored by the Women's Caucus.
She recently completed a co-authored article, "Human, Animal, and Machine in the Seventeenth Century," for the Blackwell Companion to English Literature.
Professor Cole also teaches in the USM Women and Gender Studies Program.
